Rising Sun Roll

The Rising Sun Roll sounds amazing.  It is a California roll wrapped in soy paper, topped with seared tuna and tempura flakes and drizzled in an eel and avocado cream sauce.  Not only does it sound incredibly delicious but it helps raise money for a good cause.  This roll was introduced to help raise money to contribute to the American Red Cross’ Pacific Tsunami Relief Effort.  The Koi Fusion Shot, the other item which was introduced to help raise money for Japan sounds amazingly refreshing.  It would definitely go well with a meal at Koi.  The shot is a fruit-infused sake shot with pineapple, watermelon, honeydew and cantaloupe.  I think this is going to be my new favorite beverage!  Koi’s representative released a statement from Nick Haque, chairman and CEO of Koi Restaurants which was seen in “City’s Best Las Vegas.”  The representatives said Nick Haque” has been deeply touched by the recent crisis” and is “deeply passionate about the cause.”
