Koi Helps Japan

Now you can help the Japanese relief effort when you eat at Nick Haque’s Koi.  Koi Restaurants New York, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas have introduced a special roll and shot which will raise money for the cause.  For one week 100% of the proceeds will go to American Red Cross’ Japanese Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami relief efforts.  Then for the rest of the month half of the proceeds from the sales will be donated.  The new roll and drink also sound very delicious.   First there is the Rising Sun Roll ($18), a California roll topped with seared tuna and tempura flakes.  The other new item is the Koi Fusion Shot ($4), a sake cocktail infused with pineapple and melons.
